Attempt to shift trial
PA • Auckland A man charged with the murder of Margaret Bell outside the Mainstreet Cabaret in Queen Street, Auckland, last July, has applied for a change of venue for the hearing of his trial.
Brian Ronald McDonald, aged 24, made the application in chambers to a Supreme Court judge at Auckland yesterday. The decision was reserved.
