NZPA Washington The Carter Administration’s senior trade official, a man who has been taking a firm stand against import restrictions recently, is expected to visit New Zealand in May. He is Mr Reubin Askew, the United States Trade Representative, whose recent policy statements that import" curbs are inflationary have delighted New Zealand officials in Washington, who have been promoting the same argument for years.
