His honour .sentenced Sharp to four years imprisonment, and Taituha to three years jail on the charge laid against each of rendering Constable McMillan incapable of resistance. ■ The other two youths
involved, Rex' Bartholo mew Tukuafu, aged IS, and Kenneth Hunter Georgeson, aged 19, took no active part in the tak'ing ofc the hostage to tlie airportTukuafu was sentenced to 12 months, Imprisonment for-being a party to the unlawful use of’ a shotgun, and Georgeson was sentenced to ‘ 18 months imprisonment bn a similar charge. All four youths received lesser terms of imprisonment bn a number of other charges, and these sentences are to bo served concurrently.
