NZPA Sydney The three-year-old Sydney star, Kingston Town, breezed home four and a-half lengths clear of Double Century for his tenth straight win on Sydney tracks in the $200,000 weight-for-age H. E. Tancred Stakes (2400 m at Rosehill on Saturday. •The seven-year-old , New Zealand-bred In The Purple gelding, Gold And Black, winner of the Melbourne Cup in 1977, ran a great stayer’s race for third, a half neck away. Shivaree, winner of the Tancred Stakes last year, finished fifth behind the New Zealandbred Salamander. .
