Two share Lion title
The first two prizes in the Lion $250 “player of the day” contest in senior cricket will be shared by the Old Collegians and Lancaster Park clubs. Robert Wilson (Old Collegians) and Bevan Congdon (Lancaster Park) each had 19 points, with the third prize going to Sydenham, through lan Wilson (17 points). Other leaders were David Stead (Riccarton) 16, Richard Leggat (Old Collegians) and Dayle Hadlee (Old Boys) 15, Paul McEwan (Old Collegians) and Geoff Smith (St Albans) 14, Cran Bull (Old
Boys), Barry Hadlee (Old Boys-) Steve McNally (Riccarton) 13, and Peter Wallace (Burnside-West) 12.
Saturday’s points were.
Three: Stead, Les Smith (St Albans), Lindsay Forde (Old Collegians), Dayle Hadlee.
