Situations Vacant Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries TECHNICIAN/TECHNICAL OFFICER ANIMAL HEALTH REFERENCE LABORATORY WALLACEVILLE VACANCY No. 2068 THE ANIMAL HEALTH DIVISION of the Ministry has a vacancy for a Microbiologist at our Animal Health Laboratory, Wallaceville. Commencing salary will depend on qualifications and experience. Qualifications desired: N.Z.C.S., A.N.Z.I.M.L.T. or B.Sc. (Microbiology). Experience in medical or veterinary diagnostic bacteriology. Duties will include the isolation and identification of bacteria from diagnostic samples and from referred cultures, the management of the Division’s proficiency testing programme and supervision of food microbiology.
