Long link with yards
An association with the Addington saleyards, which started 32 years ago. will end this month for Mr M. S. Henry. He has been appointed general manager of Associated Meat Buyers Ltd. For the last 18 years Mr Henry has bought "stock at
Addington and on North Canterbury farms for the company. He started work for the old firm of H. Matson and Company as a booking clerk and later was a stock agent. Before joining Associated Meat Buyers Ltd, he worked as a buyer for Borthwicks.
Mr A. J. Campbell, who has been the Oxford stock agent for Wrightson NMA Ltd. will take over Mr Henry’s job. In the accompanying photograph Mr Henry', on the right, is shown with his successor.
