Mr Highet to continue?
PA Auckland The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Highet) will reconsider his decision to retire at the next General Election. The Deputy Mayor of Auckland (Mr Jolyon Firth) who is regarded as a strong contender for the nomination should Mr Highet’s Remuera seat become vacant, has said that he would like Mr Highet to stand again.
