Sir, — Alan Wilkinson (March 24), has made a statement that is untrue and offensive when he states that “Catholics use abortion and contraceptive services as much as the rest of the population.” I challenge this correspondent to substantiate his claim with accurate figures
from a reliable source such as the Medical Association, North Canterbury Hospital Board, or such authority or to retract his statement, — Yours, etc., JOYCE SUMPTON, ■ March 24, 1980.
