Man found guilty of receiving
Nelson reporter -An Unemployed concrete worker was found guilty by a ,3ury in the Supreme Court atz: Nelson yesterday on six of<nine charges of receiving stolen property. Jle is Christopher Kenneth Curtis, aged 23, who was remanded to tomorrow for sentence by Mr Justice Quilliam. "He was charged with having received stolen property on. 10 occasions between February 19 and June 19, 1979. He pleaded not guilty to all charges. £When the case resumed yesterday morning, his Honour discharged Curtis on a c&arge of receiving a tarpaulini for lack of evidence. *Of the . remaining nine charges, the jury found Curtis, guilty on the first six and n<st guilty on the other three. .♦Mr M. A. Bungay, with him, Mr A. E. Webber, appeared for Curtis and Mr C. J:* McGuire for the Crown.
