Stud groom dies
! Special correspondent Auckland 1 A Matamata stud groom l : Mr Joseph O’Neil, died as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident last Sunday, He was aged 60. An employee of Blandford Lodge Stud, since it estab< lished in 1958, Mr O’Neil was one of the most skilled horse handlers. He became particularly well known through his parading yearlings from Blandford Lodge and other studs at the bloodstock sales.
