Government securities
PA Wellington The Reserve Bank of New Zealand reports that sales of Government securities by specialised dealers for the week to February 15, comprised 47- transactions totalling $32,147,290.
Of this total, 17 transactions totalling $25,500,000 involved Treasury bills. The weighted average yield for Treasury bill sales was 11.171 per cent. Sales of Government stock totalled $6,647,290 from 30 transactions. The weighted average yield for stocks maturing under two years was 12.380 per cent from two to five years 13.363 per cent, and over five years 13.452 per cent. The transactions do not include those with; the Reserve Bank.
