tl) Letters submitted tor printing in this column must not exceed 150 words. they should ue written in ink or preferably typed on one side of the paper Ample space must be left in the margins and between lines for subediting marks.

F A S.— Borrowing from the private sector to cover a deficit in the public sector is not “printing money”; though a deficit Budget, as has been acknowledged, may increase inflation. The effect depends on business activity in the private sector.
