PA Hamilton James Aviation, Ltd, expects to fly more than 2000 deer from the South Island to the Waikato this year, says the managing director (Mr .O. James). The first load of 18 hinds arrived from Hokitika during the week-end, marking the start of a service of three or four.such flights each week. formed a new division — James Livestock, Ltd — to manage its venture into the deer industry. The company had appointed an experienced deer farmer, (Mr Murray Underwood) as manager, - and would be making its services available in an advisory capacity to anyone wishing to start deer farming.
