Set of stamps stolen
A valuable stamp collection, including a full set of New Zealand health stamps from the first issue to the present day, has been stolen from a house in Woolston. The collection, which has an estimated value of more than $4500, was taken after a door of the house had been forced some time between 7.30 a.m. on Saturday and 7 p.m. on Sunday. The health stamps were in a hinged blue leather album. A newer blue vinyl album, containing other sets of New Zealand stamps, also was stolen, . Anyone with information
about the missing albums is asked to get in touch with Detective B. Cox, of the Christchurch C. 1.8.
