Gallery to show art worth $31M
A Dutch collection of icons, valued at $9 million, will be shown at the Robert McDougall Art Gallery later this year, followed by a $22 million collection of paintings. The Christchurch City Council’s gallery has already been visited by the director o.' the Dutch foundation which owns the icons. A two-month exhibition, probably from September to November, ‘ will be mounted to show the 106 items.
