‘Letter to the Editor’
NZPA Sydney The “Sydney Morning Herald” permitted a New Zealand cricket fan the following comments yesterday in its “Letters to the Editor” column: ' •
“Sir, I understand you chaps in Australia had some difficulty with the West Indies cricket team. Over here in New Zealand we haven’t found them very much trouble at all.
I “With the increasing political and economic detente ■between our two countries, it would be a nice idea if some of your chaps were to pop over here and receive instructions in the basics. “I’m sure they would find our -fellows would be only too happy to extend a helping hand.” —Bob Jones, Tirohanga Road, Wellington, New Zealand.
