“Gladiator” hangs his head in shame and apologises to readers who were unable to find “Kapiti,” the answer to clue 11, in the North Island touragram grid on February 5. Because of the omission, the contest will be marked on the remaining 39 questions, with, incidentally, optional spelling being allowed for “Manukau” which incorrectly appeared in the grid as “Manakau.” In the meantime, “Gladiator” requests that his real identity remains a closely guarded secret. Results of the North Island contest will appear in “Tuesday Travel” next week.
