‘Not guilty’ of stabbing
PA Dunedin A jury has found William Otto Gurnick, aged 28, not guilty on both' counts relating to a stabbing at Part Chalmers on June 22 last year. Gurnick appeared in the Supreme Court at Dunedin, charged with wounding Stephen Peter Keane with intent to injure and an alternative charge of injuring Mr Keane by an unlawful act. He pleaded not guilty to both charges. Mr Justice Somers discharged Gurnick.
