Poseidon to pay 5c
NZPA Sydney Poseidon, Ltd, the company which enriched or broke many speculators during the late 1060’s nickel boom,. is to give shareholders their first dividend. The company will pay an interim dividend of 5c a share on May 2, The maiden payout will be $848,447. Pose.don’s main asset is a 47 per cent interest in Kalgoorlie Lake View Pty, Ltd, which in turn has as its main asset a 52 per cent interest in Kalgoorlie Mining Associates. K.M.A. operates the Mt Charlotte gold mine, and also owns the Fimistone mine, at which old shafts have recently been opened as a result of the rising price of gold. Poseidon has received dividends totalling SI.4M K.L.V.
