House sells above G.V.
A 50-year-old house at 27 Idris Road, Fendalton, sold at auction for $61,500 yesterday, $13,000 above its Government valuation. Bidding started at $50,0.00. About 25 people attended the auction, conducted by Mr G. A. Woodley, of Binns, ■ Barber and Keenan, Ltd. The property is on the southern bank of the Wairarapa Stream, and is back land. The house has three bedrooms, an open fireplace, and a double garage.
