Cooks Wine growing strongly
PA Auckland Cooks NZ Wine Co. Ltd, profit gorwth continued into the current year with net profit in the six months to December 31 more than double that of the previous half-year. Audited profit for the latest period jumped from $249,017 to $521,916.. In the last full year, the company earned a 51.4 per cent higher $702,385, and the annual dividend rate was raised from 6 per cent o 12 per cent. The company does not make interim dividend payments. The profit growth for the latest period outstripped the growth rate, shown by sales. Which were 45.7 per cent higher at $3.5M. .The directors expect that budgeted sales volume for the full year to June 30 will be achieved, and subject to continued reasonable trading conditions, a most satisfactory profit.
