Comment wrong
A report of an interview with the Medical Officer of Health (Dr W. A. Malpress) wrongly reported one of his comments on the. use of cop-per-containing intra-uterine contraceptive devices. Dr Malpress was asked for his opinion and said that he wished to reassure people that the I.U.D. was a good and safe method of contraception. He said that if his own wife used a coppercontaining I.U.D. he would be perfectly happy.
