Clean Air meeting
Pollution by solid-fuel burners in Christchurch will be discussed at a public meeting called by the Clean Air Council on February 26. The meeting will also examine possible amendments to the Clean Air Act, and the requirements for solid-fuel heating ap-
pliances approved by the Clean Air Council. The president of the Christchurch branch of the society (Mr P. V. Neary) said that the society had to try to publicise the defects in solid fuel appliances,, in the hope that the Clean Air Council would act to remedy the problems. :
