Traffic campaigns
The Ministry of Transport has planned more than 20 weeks of intensified traffic campaigns this year. Blood-alcohol campaigns will be held from April 3 to June 4, and from November 7 to January 8, 1981. A two-week capaign on speeding has recently finished, and a similar campaign will -be held in October. Seat belt campaigns will run from May 10 to May 23, and from August 23 to September 5. The Ministry is also planning a campaign on pedestrian behaviour, although dates have not been finalised.
