Oil bill up
PA , Wellington Oil consumption continued to decline in the quarter to December 31 but oil imports rose, according to provisional figures released yesterday by the Ministry of Energy. Petrol consumption was down 3 per cent and diesel 5 per cent on the previous quarter. This showed the effect of the demand restraint measures, said a Ministry spokesman.
