A television programme in mid-winter which will be eagerly awaited by golfers and other sports enthusiasts is the Air New Zealand challenge series between two of New Zealand’s renowned professionals. Bob Charles and Simon Owen. Six half-hour programmes, each showing three holes, will be televised at the end of May and in June. The contest took the two golfers to 10 different courses throughout the country and took 10 days to complete. Above is their official card, showing where the two players gained and lost shots. Charles finished the 18 holes with a two-stroke advantage.
