The United States Olympic Committee has resisted pressure from President Carter to make a quick decision on boycotting the Olympic Games in Moscow. Mr Carter sent Lloyd Cutler, a White House counsel, to the Winter Games at Lake Placid to talk to Robert Kane, president; of the U.5.0.C., about making a decision by the President’s deadline, this Wednesday. “Mr Cutler asked us to bring our decision forward from April-11-13,-when our house of delegates will meet at Colorado Springs,” Mr Kane said. “We are sticking to our guns. We have stated what our procedures will be; and we will not change them.” —
