TV film came out of the blue
NZPA Sydney The Sydney television station, Channel Seven, says it is mystified by the appearance of a short clip from a “blue” movie during live coverage of the Australian open tennis championships at Melbourne yesterday afternoon.
The scenes, which showed two men, appeared for a few seconds as the station cut to a commercial break during a match. The Channel Seven programme manager, Mr Glen Kinging later said the coverage had left Melbourne “clean”, and that the clip had been inserted somewhere along the line. He said that Telecom w>as investigating the incident, and denied earner information from the channel that the clip was part of a Christmas-party tape. Mr Kinging said that Channel Seven had not produced any Christmasparty tape.
