Producers’ Board changes
PA Wellington The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has announced senior staff changes, to become effective early next year. The board’s general manager (Mr H. C. M. Douglas) will transfer to London to take up the post of European director. Mr D. J. C. Freeman, the present assistant general manager, will succeed him as general manager. In Wellington, there will be four assistant general managers with responsibilities for aspects of the board’s work as follows: Mr M. W. Calder (administration, and secretary to the board), Mr A. E. Frazer (production), Mr G. T. Harrison (marketing), and Mr M. A. Jones (promotion and public relations). Mr J. A. Stoddari will transfer from Wellington to London as marketing officer, and Mr W. A. Joyce will also transfer from Wellington to take up the post as European manager, based at Brussels.
