29 killed in Peru crash
NZPA-Reuter Lima All 29 people on board a Peruvian Air Force plane were killed when it crashed in a jungle area ea-q of Lima, aviation officials have said. The propeller-driven Buffalo aircraft crashed on Saturday during a flight between Pucallpa, 850 km northeast of Lima, the capital, and Puerto Esperanza, near the Brazilian border. The wreckage was spotted on Sunday near Puerto Esperanza. and the bodies were recovered on Tuesday.
