IN HIS SPARE time. Mr Peter Whiteman, of Somerfield, has taken to making unusual little toy’ animals out of bits of rope and pieces of material. He used to sell them at work to his friends, but now he makes only a few and sells them occasionally at the local charity shop. Mr Whiteman makes various other little toys for children. such as push-along carts, and savs he gets tremendous pleasure out of spending his leisure time in this way.
