Interpol hunt for hit-team

NZPA-Reuter Mexico Citv I Interpol is searching in Central America for six men land two women it believes might have been sent to kill the deposed Shah of Iran, Mexican police sources hate said. I Indians in south-eastern Mexico reported that the group had been receiving guerrilla training in a mountain camp and had since left the country by a Pacific port south-west of the capital, the ! sources said. i The deposed Shah, who i spent more than four months in Mexico earlier this year ; after leaving Iran, is living in Panama on a small Pacific [resort island. Iranian religious leaders have pledged to send squads to assassinate him. The police sources said Mexican. Panamanian, and American police, co-ordinated by the Mexico City Interpol bureau, were searching for the suspected guerrillas. Mexican police had gone to the Sierra Chapaneca mountains to look for the training camp reported by Lacandon Indians living in the area. There was no official confirmation from Interpol of the investigation.
