The Wedgelock frames are finger-jointed and locked with a plastic wedge, anc almost any sized frame car be produced. They are made by the Scott Group, Ltd. The response from importers has been so good that ;
production line for export has been set up, according to a press release from the group. A machine was designed and built at the Christchurch -factory but it was unable to [cope with the orders and so a fully automatic machine 'was produced, which tripled output. The Christchurch factory [would have to be extended (to cope with further orders 'from the United States.
