Bicycle sale in Square
The, National Council of Churches m Christchurch will hold an auction today row to raise money to buy bicycles for Kampuchea The secretary of the N.C.C. (the Rev. A. H. McLeod) will be the auctioneer. The sale will be held tn Cathedral square at 1.30 p.m. Some people had offered to give bicycles, but it was too expensive to freight them to Kampuchea, and so the N.C.C. had decided to sei! them to raise money, which would be used to buv bicycles from -omewhere closer to Kampuchea. Mr McLeod said Anyone able to gixe a bicycle is asked to telephone the N.C.C. m Christchurch Arrangements would be made to collect the bicycle, Mr McLeod said.
