O’Hare’s bird homes in
A pigeon owned by Mrs D. ■ O’Hare, of the East Christchurch Homing Club, took honours in the Christchurch National Pigeon Association’s Hamilton to Christchurch race at the week-end. The winning bird covered the 676 km distance in 12h 18m, a velocity speed of 917.839 m per minute. A total of 175 birds from 42 lofts competed in the race and there was a good return.
