Recorders recovered
The cockpit voice recorder and half the flight recorder from a Pakistani International Airlines Boeing 707 which crashed in Saudi Arabia has have been recovered from the' debris, Pakistan’s civil-avia-1 tion chief, M. Y. Wazirzada,; has said. Mr Wazirzada, director-general of aviation,. was speaking to reporters! after returning to Karachi from a visit to the sight of j the crash about 130 km from| the Red Sea port of Jeddah. ■ The plane caught fire and I crashed half an hour after; take-off from Jeddah on a flight to Karachi, killing all 156 people on board. — Ka-I rachi.
