- The staff of Pyne, *, Gould, Guinness Travel • pay special attention to i their fanning clients’ domestic and international needs for both business . and holiday travel. They are also very pleased to help anyone who is not a , farming client. The travel section which •“ began in 1970 with Mrs . Lorna Speary as its travel adviser now employs two
extra consultants Miss Kim Sercombe and Miss Caroline Innes, with Mrs Speary as manager. Mrs Speary says the Travel section has always tried very hard to maintain the standard of friendliness and consideration for clients that has become the longstanding feature of Pyne, Gould, Guinness. Apart from arranging
overseas trips the Travel section arranges tours for incoming visitors from other countries who want to see New Zealand farms. Last year the Travel section arranged a tour of the North and South Islands for a group of Japanese who wanted to buy riding horses. Another organised trip was a sheep breeders tour to Australia. The Travel section deals
with all international reservations by land, sea and air and works in close liaison with P.N.0.N.Z., Ltd. The Travel section is also domestic agents for Mount Cook Lines, the New Zealand Railways and Newmans Coach Lines. The agency is also a bonded member of T.A.A.N.Z. (Travel Agents Association of New Zealand).
