Clothing trade probe
Th.e Cabinet would look into the Tasman clothing trade, the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) said last evening, “The manufacturers are very worried about it, so we are going to have a chat to the Australians,” he said.
The manufacturers said that in certain areas of the clothing trade things were getting “a little bit excessive in terms of previous policies and understandings.” Mr Muldoon said the inquiry would be done by departmental officials
