Guerrilla held after raid
NZPA-Reuter Zurich’ Zurich courts yesterday; began preparing charges; against a suspected BaaderMeinhof urban guerrilla, Rolf Wagner, one of West Germany’s most wanted men, for his part in a daring bank raid and the killing of a woman shopper in the city centre on Monday. Four raiders marched into the main Zurich branch of the Volksbank, held the bank tellers at bay, stuffed $347,200 into shopping bags, and calmly walked out into the crowded street before mounting bicycles to make [for the main railway station via side streets. A policeman challenged the gang in an underground
[shopping precinct at the sta-l , tion. Gunfire broke out, and 'a housewife, Icja Klet-i Handler, was- fatally; wounded in the neck. A policeman, Bernard Pfister.; was hit in the shoulder and legs. Wagner was arrested later sitting at a tram stop nearby, armed with a revolver and carrying $253,000. West German police anti-, .guerrilla specialists travelled ■ to Zurich yesterday.
