Regina sees good year
Regina Confections, Ltd, increased unaudited net profit for the half-year to September 30, 73 per cent to $31,178. Taxation provision is $25,096 ($2679). The equity share of associated companies profit is included in these figures. Realised capital profits were nil ($626). Group sales increased 10.3 per cent to SI.2M.
With the orders on hand, and the increased current demand for the company’s products, the directors consider that sales and profit for the year to March 31 will be satisfactory. An increased interim dividend of 6c a share (sc) is payable on February 29.
