Soccer team well beaten
The Christchurch Sunday soccer league representative team was soundly beaten by the national league team, Dunedin City, 8-1, in Dunedin at the weekend. Dunedin led, 4-1, at halftime and was too strong in all facets of play for the Christchurch team playing its first representative match outside Christchurch.
