Woman jailed on bank charges

PA Auckland A Takapuna woman has been imprisoned for two years and a half on charges relating to the attempted robby and robbery of two Milford banks in September. Pauline Anne Gilmore, aged 33, an unemployed nurse aid. admitted a total of five charges when she appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at North Shore. Mr J. H. Murray, S.M., convicted and discharged Gilmore on a charge of stealing a fish knife from a Milford hardware store on September 27, and escaping from Carrington Hospital on September 28. He sentenced her to two years and a half jail on charges of demanding
