Television and Radio
Simon Carr, whose play '•There Is No God in Palmerston North” was the first prizewinner in Radio New Zealand’s International Year of the Child playwriting contest, eartier wrote "The Every Weather Girl” which is being repeated tonight on the National radio programme. Meantime the channel is having problems ' with weather girls getting in the family way. The latest weather girl draws flak from the critics for her style of weather reporting. Cindy, the weather girl, and Dave, the current affairs man, decide to go out in a blaze of glory on nationwide TV. Anne Budd is Cindy and Peter Vere Jones is Dave in this R.N.Z. production bv Ross Jolly.
