Barrington vicar
The Rev. 11. V. Harrison has been appointed vicar of St Nicholas’s Church m Barrington Street by lhe Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt Rev. W. A. Pyatt) Mr Harrison, who was previously vicar of North Brighton. replaces the Rev. M. D. S. Cocks, who is moving to Hororata. The Rev. P. D. Bathurst will take up a position as vicar of the parish of St Mark's, Rakaia, after spending two years at Shirley. The Archdeacon of Rangiora and Westland, the Ven. R. O. Williams will retire in December. His replacement has not yet been appointed.
