Port Hills trek
The annual combined Girls’ Brigade and Boy’s Brigade sponsored trek round the Port Hills will be held this Saturday. The trekkers will start from Cashmere High School between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. and cover a distance of up to 45km. The trek was an important fund-raiser for the movement, said the public relations convener of the Canterbury battalion of the Boys’ Brigade (Mr H. Nicholson).
