Newmans expands
PA Whangarei Three Northland companies have merged with Newmans Coach Lines, Ltd, a member of TNL Group Ltd, They are Webbs Motors (Whangarei) Ltd, Ken Webb, Ltd, and the Kaikohe Bus! Co, Ltd.
All three will continue to operate under the name of Webbs Motors, Ltd. and will be managed from Whangarei by Mr D. I. Bullock, the: manager of Webbs Motors; (Whangarei) Ltd. The managing director of; Newmans Coach Lines (Mr; G. K. Chapman) said the number of his' company’s tours which included Northland was steadily increasing. Expansion into Northland' was to ensure the continued: growth of public passenger; transport as part of the group’s involvement in the ; tourist industry.
