Firm’s car fleet to use C.N.G.
PA Auckland One of New Zealand’s biggest companies will convert
a large part of its Auckland ■car fleet to run on compressed natural gas Fletcher Holdings, ltd will first convert a trial batch of 60 vehicles. If the trial proves successful after six months, up to 200 cars at its Penrose base will be changed
The company will install a C.N.G. filling station at its head office in Great South Road
The conversion work, will cost more than $120,000 A decision still has to be made on whether to buy equipment from Italy, Japan or the United States
