Backing for fluoridation
PA Wellington Children denied the right to fluoridated water have much-reduced chances of healthy teeth, says the president of the Dietetic Associtaion (Mrs P. Matthews). Sixty dietitians from throughout New Zealand at their annual meeting at Palmerston North voted in favour of promoting the extension of fluoridation throughout the country, and gave their backing to the New Zealand dental and medical associations, which actively encourage fluoridation.
