Commentator’s remarks to be examined
Remarks made by the
commentator, Mr L. Marshall, as the horses crossed the line in the Eiffelton Handicap at Ashburton on Saturday, are to be submitted for consideration by the executive of the Trotting Conference.
Mr Marshall referred to the manner in which Coo’s Boy, driven by Jack Smolensk!. was handled in the l-tter part of the race. Coo’s Boy, which started from 30m, finished strongly along the inside, after being late securing an opening, to take second, three-quarters of a length from Jericho.
